Biography:
Mehmet C. Oz, M.D. is professor and vice-chairman of surgery at Columbia University as well as medical director of the Integrated Medicine Center and director of the Heart Institute at New York Presbyterian/Columbia Medical Center. Dr. Oz is the co-author of the New York Times bestsellers YOU: On a Diet, YOU: The Owner’s Manual, YOU: The Smart Patient, YOU: Staying Young, and his latest YOU The Owner’s Manual,Updated and Expanded Edition.
Dr. Oz is the Co-Clinical Director of Bon Secours Heart Institute. Dr. Oz is the health expert for The Oprah Winfrey Show and the host of the “The Dr. Oz Show” on XM Satellite Radio’s Oprah & Friends channel. He is also senior medical advisor to the Discovery Channel where he has hosted several popular series.
